Terms and Conditions

Ecosmo is a UK based company offering top quality electric bikes, bikes & accessories, supplying the UK and Europe online. All our goods are directly from the factory without the middlemen so we are able to offer the most competitive price. We are confident of our ability to deliver great quality products at unbeatable prices, and we always ensure our customer service is second to none. That’s why our customers always come back again!

The following terms and conditions apply to all our orders.
The placing of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing your order.

To purchase from us you must be over 18.


Working day” means any days excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

“Ecosmo ” or “ecosmobikes .com” means Ecosmo also referred to as “we” or “us” in these terms and conditions

Buyer/Purchaser/You means any person, sole trader, partnership, business, body corporate or other entity detailed in the appropriate section of the sales invoice/order form

We reserve the right to amend technical or clerical errors in any order without notice. In addition, the buyer shall ensure that all details contained within the order are correct and no liability for any error or inaccuracy shall lie with us.


Quotations are given on the assumption that no variation in the price will be made by the manufacturer/sole importer and that Government levies remain unaltered. In the event of such changes, orders placed before the variation will remain the same price and no further increases will be passed to customer.

Price means consideration due for purchase and shall include VAT unless otherwise stated. Purchasers should note that prices quoted may vary during the currency of brochures (upwards or downwards) and current prices are quoted at the time of order. In respect of orders placed via the Internet, these shall not be accepted by us until confirmed.

Limitations Upon Liability

Advice given by us during the order process is based entirely upon information given by the purchaser, such advice is an opinion only and we shall not accept liability for any inaccuracies. Additionally, goods supplied are supplied only to correspond to the purpose for which goods of that kind are commonly supplied and not alternative uses to which they may be put. 
No liability for failure can be accepted by us for such alternative use, amendment or modification.


Delivery dates are given in good faith and we accept no responsibility for failure to deliver on any given date.
Any claims for non delivery, shortages and damages must be notified to the seller within 7 days of dispatch. As a rule parcels are not considered lost until after 14 working days. We are not able to process a claim for the parcel until 14 working days have passed from the time of us sending the goods. Once the 14 days have passed we will then process a claim as quickly as possible, however please note the claims process can take several weeks. We do not wait for the compensation to come to us before we refund you or resend the goods but we do have to wait for confirmation that the claim has been accepted. Please understand that in this situation it is not us that have lost the goods and it is frustrating for us also.


We offer 60 days warranty for the main parts except the frame (which has a standard 12 months warranty), if you find any of the parts have a manufacture problem within 60 days, we can supply you free replacement parts (except inner tubes of course) for yourself to changing them, or you can send the product back to us on your cost and we will fix it for you. 

Cancellation of orders

If you want to cancel your order and return the item, you must notify us within 7 working days beginning with the day after the day on which the goods are delivered

We recommend you post your returns to us using a carrier who can give us a proof of posting as, until the parcel reaches s, it is your responsibility.

Goods and packaging must be as new, returned items must not have any signs of abuse or intentional damage.

You (buyer) are responsible for the return shipping charges if you are returning items because you have changed your mind, and we will refund you the full amount within 30 days provided that the goods returned are in the original condition when delivered to you.

Refunds are usually processed within a few days of us receiving the goods back. Please allow a further week for the amount to show on your account. Sorry if this seems a little long but the time frame is dictated by your bank or card issuer and we have no control over it. We will refund you by the same method as payment (i.e. same card, Paypal)

Privacy Policy

Ecosmo values your privacy, and therefore do not disclose information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, and to store delivery addresses when you register. There is an option to store a cookie on the PC when you first register.

When you pay for goods your details are passed through our payment service provider system purely for payment processing and anti-fraud purposes, for your protection.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We will collect any information given at the time of the ordering process only to enable us to input and process your order.

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third partier.


We shall not be responsible for damage, injury or loss of any kind whatsoever to any property or persons however arising from the use of goods or otherwise in connection with the installation. Nor shall we be responsible for any additional risks, which the customer’s insurance company may consider to have been undertaken by reason of the delivery, installation or use of the goods supplied.
We do not accept any liability for manufacturing defect or failure of materials however caused.

Data Protection Act 1998

We may transfer information about you to our bankers / financiers for the purposes of providing services and for the following purposes: obtaining credit insurance, making credit reference agency searches, credit control, assessment and analysis (including credit scoring, market, product and statistical analysis), securitization and protecting our interest. We will provide you with details of our bankers / financiers and that of any credit reference agencies use on request.

These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you.
